“Ever consider what pets must think of us? I mean, here we come back from a grocery store with the most amazing haul – chicken, pork, half a cow. They must think we’re the greatest hunters on earth! “
-Anne Tyler
I put 2 in the freezer for another day.
They come with simple instructions.
According to the Hormel website…
“Hormel® Always Tender® flavored pork and beef are pre-seasoned with a marinade that guarantees the meat will remain succulent and flavorful, even if you over-cook it. So the question for tonight’s dinner isn’t what meat to buy, but which variety.
Hormel® Always Tender® products are all pre-marinated for superb tenderness, juiciness and flavor, so there’s no prep time and no cleanup required. The average cooking time is around 30 minutes, and every one comes with easy cooking instructions and serving suggestions right on the label. Plus, with more than 40 varieties, there’s truly something for everyone.”
Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 155 degrees.
That sounds too simple, but it really is.
All I did was grease my pan, place the roasts on it and stick them in the oven.
They both turned out beautifully!
They both were moist, tender and delishious.
We all decided that the Lemon Garlic was our favorite but the barbecue was great too!
We even chopped up leftovers to make salads the following night and everyone was thrilled with that as well.
I would have never bothered to try this if I had not found such a great deal at Albertsons and was able to apply coupons.
I was very happy with how easy it was to make but it passed my happy family test with flying colors…
All the fabulous deals in the world will not ensure that my people will like something in the least.
When I find something that they can agree on and even look forward to then I am a grateful and happy mama. 🙂
1 roast would be excellent for a family of 4.
I was glad I had made 2 for the 6 of us and we even got a second meal out of it too!
I served it with rice, corn, jello and romaine salad.
Hormel has no clue how NUTTY I am nor does any company beg, bribe, pay or ask me nicely to test, endorse or speak about any of their products. When I find something nifty that works for us, I like to share it here with you. It’s my opinion alone, use it wisely. 😉
Those who care always share! 🙂
Just another awesome way to toss together a memorable meal that will please your audience with very little effort.
We have enough to juggle!
Dinner sometimes NEEDS to be easy but AMAZING. Factor in cost efficent and healthy, things start to get tough.
One short cut I’m happy to share!

Oh how I love these tenderloins. It’s one of my favorite dishes. Your entire meal sounded great with corn, jello and the romaine salad. I have been eating oriental salad recently….I’m temporarily hooked. = )

The barbecue pork roast is more my style but they both look really delicious!!
