London Broil In Gravy

“To fulfill a dream, to be allowed to sweat over lonely labor, to be given the chance to create, is the meat and potatoes of life. The money is the gravy.”

– Bette Davis

London Broil in Gravy is a Crock Pot favorite!

For a very long time I had never thought to do anything with a London Broil besides grill it.

That’s good but some days I don’t have enough time to hang out in the backyard waiting on dinner while every member of my house comes out to whine their hunger my direction.

Grill, dang it, GRILL FASTER!

I got a rock bottom deal on London Broil and set out to make it several ways that week.

On a crock pot kick, I thought it couldn’t hurt to give it a try.

Min suggested we toss in some carrots and celery.

Kenz had wanted potatoes so I thought a good gravy was in order.

Gravy is fairly awesome.

London Broil And Gravy became an excellent crock pot staple!

Grab a London Broil that is large enough to feed everyone you’re cooking for.

I use the rule of thumb to a lot a ½ a pound of meat per person.

I like having leftovers AND it’s not uncommon that I have an extra guest or a few at the last minute for dinner so it doesn’t hurt to a lot for plenty.

IF I end up with leftovers, they are eaten well before noon the very next day by whom ever moved the quickest to pounce on the tasty leftovers.

Grab the Crock Pot.

1 London Broil

(I cook a 3+ pound London Broil for the 6 of us)

1 Can of Cream of Celery Soup

2 Cans Cream Of Mushroom Soup

1 Small Bag of Baby Carrots

4 Stalks of Celery Chopped

Salt and Pepper to Taste

Put it all right into the Crock Pot and cook on LOW for 8 hours.

It turns out moist and oh so tender.

An amazing dinner will be waiting on you for a change!

No more bundling up to stand outside at the grill anymore…

Let the Crock Pot do all the hard work!

You’re house will smell like you’ve been slaving away over the stove all day and you hardly did a thing!

London Broil with Gravy is so simple, frugally budget friendly and AMAZING!

I serve them with my…

 Mom’s Mashed Potatoes

Roasted Lemon Pepper Potatoes

Green Beans

AND Crisp Salad.

The drippings make a wonderfully creamy gravy that adds a little extra to the potatoes or rice of you’re choice.

It makes for a wonderful meal that I hardly have to spend any money to achieve.

It melts in your mouth and will leave you fighting for leftovers too!

Next time you’re at the market, take advantage of the great deals on London Broils and enjoy one with you’re family!

Nothing is better than a meal that everyone is pleased with.

I know I’ve done well when my people request it again and again.

It’s so simple, I know it’s going to be OUTSTANDING for you too!

Don’t be tempted to turn up the heat…

This needs to chill out, relax and be allowed to simmer to juicy perfection

Chillin’ out until it’s done,

Meg xoxo
