What the heck is Hot Cocaccinos?
I’m not really sure.
This is The Handsome Prince’s favorite way to have coffee and he calls them a Hot Cocoaccinos.
So I guess that makes Hot Cocoaccinos official… at least around here.
It’s the way The Handsome Prince would prefer his every cup of steaming hot coffee to be like.
An excellent way to greet the day, serve to guests at a party, keep stashed in the fridge and tell no one so you don’t have to share. 😉
It’s such a blend of sweet with the chocolate and cream but then you have the pep of the coffee to make this an incredible dessert worthy coffee that will please EVERYONE!
Warm them up on cold evenings, tempt them from their warm covers with the smells of the perfect cup of creamy Hot Cocoaccino Coffee.
Stop spending on those pricey coffee house drinks when you can make your own with VERY LITTLE effort.
I make up a batch, put it in a Tupperware pop it in the fridge and we use it up over several days.
Let’s get busy!
This is SUPER EASY my friends!
Before we whip up a batch of the secret awesomeness…
I want all of you to take a second to head on over to our coffee pots and get a pot of coffee brewing.
It’s not important what blend of beans you use, if you prefer decaffeinated (for the love of coffee I don’t understand you decaf people but I support the choice), what matters is that you LIKE the blend of coffee you decided to use.
Our coffee will be ready right when we need it.
In a small pot over LOW heat add:
1 Can Sweetened Condensed Milk
1- 4 Ounce Bar of German Chocolate
Now you HAVE to exercise some patience here.
RESIST THE URGE TO TURN UP THE HEAT.
This shall not speed up the process, this shall burn the chocolate.
Ever eaten burnt chocolate. >-< YUCK!
Patience will make this AWESOME! It’ll only take 6 minutes so relax and stir.
When it’s all nicely mixed, melted and smooth, set it to the side to cool.
When that beautiful condensed milk and chocolate mixture is cooled-
Gently fold 1 1/2 Cups of Whipped Cream into the chocolate.
Store in tightly sealed container in the fridge and it will keep 5 days.
When you are ready to make your Hot Cocoaccinos put 1/2 a Cup of the chocolate cream you made into a large coffee mug.
Fill the rest of your cup full with coffee.
Leaving a little room on the top to accent that amazing coffee with some whipped cream.
If you want to be really snazzy you can add some sprinkles, crushed peppermint, chocolate curls, a favorite candy crushed, cinnamon sugar, crushed nuts. Serve with a candy cane, chocolate straw, cinnamon stick or my favorite… with a cookie.
I like to serve Hot Cocoaccinos in HUGE coffee cups so there is plenty of room to add extra whipped cream on the top…
Then I like to put a big snickerdoodle or sugar cookie across the mouth of the cup like a lid.
EVERYONE loves to dip a delicious cookie into their creamy coffee!
Hot Cocoaccinos are a very good incentive to peel back those covers and get that coffee pot brewing!
